Come and get a Taste of Tennis. Did you just buy your tennis racquet? Have you played before in the past but need a refresher course? MatchMaker Tennis has the class for you. We work with new tennis players and players returning to the game to teach the very basics of the game, ie: forehands, backhands, volleys and serves. When you are finished with the series, you will be able to keep score and play a very basic game of tennis. The Free Beginner Tennis Classes for Adults is open to all adults. You will need a tennis racquet. You can rent one from Ski Country Sports in the Park Road Shopping Center. We ask that you sign up by clicking the SIGN ME UP link below. If we have to change the time or location of the venue, we will be able to notify everyone via e-mail. If we have to cancel due to rain, please check our WEATHER page about 30 minutes before the class starts. All cancellations are posted there and on the phone system -- 704-443-8668. |
